Democratic Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren said during an interview that she would ban construction of new homes unless they are carbon neutral, and if that means that no new homes are built, then she is OK with that.

During an interview on Morning Joe, Warren was asked what she would do to change the tide of US policy on the issue of Climate Change, to which she responded; “to do everything a president can do all by herself, that is, the things you don’t have to do by going to Congress.” This includes putting an end to energy mining and drilling on federal lands or offshore and “not having a coal lobbyist as head of the Environmental Protection Agency.”

Warren then spoke about housing; “What scares me is every time you go back to the scientists, they tell you two things,” the senator said. “It’s worse than we thought, and we have less time. That means we’ve got to be willing to do things, for example, like regulation. By 2028, no new buildings, no new houses, without a zero carbon footprint.” Warren said.

Further, Warren then stated regarding what she hopes to have accomplished in the next decade; “By 2030, trucks — light-duty trucks and cars, zero carbon footprint. By 2035, all production of electricity, zero carbon footprint,” Warren said.

Warren must not realize that her policies would paralyze business, and any form of economic growth for the United States which would permanently allow communist countries like China to gain ground and lead the free world, instead of the United Staes.

Further, the Democratic candidate must also realize that her policies would essentially enact controls on free choice. Home buyers would no longer be allowed to decide for themselves what type of material they would like to use to build their new home. Rather, restrictions would be placed on what could be used.

Further, her plans would eventually disallow citizens to carry about their business as normal, no longer allowing for citizens to drive their own vehicles and such. The plan would drastically hinder the United States.
